This is Maday

New York based multi-disciplinary experiential designer, producer, choreographer, and artistic director. Maday Martinez is an expert storyteller who loves all things art, architecture, craft and design.  She pushes the boundaries of experience and space while creating compelling and memorable visual concepts.  From window displays, set designs, shoots and sculpture, her specialty is bringing mixed media to projects in order to provide a layered and rich experience through her work. 

Cuban born, Maday graduated from Parsons The New School of Design with a BFA in Interior Design and Architecture.  She is the founder of Union City Music and Dance Academy and Project DALE Inc. both community spaces in her hometown that work with at risk youth through the arts by providing them unique experiences, training, and mentorship.  When she is not designing she is advocating for Latina and female empowerment.

Professionally Maday has 9+ years’ experience in design and production.  Due to her experience in fabrication and building mixed in with her training in design and architecture, Maday brings a unique perspective to the execution of designs to any scale. She seamlessly bridges the much needed gap between design and production.
